When used in conjunction with compression therapy– can help to break down fibrotic tissue by creating changes in tissue pressure which enhances the massaging effect of treatment. This in turn stimulates microcirculation, increases lymphatic drainage and assists with the removal of deposits. It can be used whole, trimmed to size, or joined together with medical adhesive tape to treat larger areas.
